My doc perscribed me tramadol and flexeril is it safe to take both ive heard conflicting stories on this?

If your doctor prescribed them together, I would hope they referenced their database of interactions before writing the prescriptions.If you want to check up on them (or just verify they didn't overlook something), you can also ask a pharmacist if those two drugs can be taken together... they have access to the same database of interactions and can easily check if there would be a problem. It is safe. They use different pathways. I take both myself and have no problems. I take 400mg per day of tramadol for chronic pain and flexeril for my muscles. But the flexeril makes me very tired, even the next day when I took it the night before, so I rarely take it unless I really really need to and I don't have to work the next day.

Can tramadol put half of your face to sleep?

yesterday i took on pill of tramadol at 6 then at 7 pm i took 2 advil half hour later i took a maalox and at 5 am i took another tramadol could all the pills put half of my face to sleep. what can i do ? also the air make it worse

It sounds like you have facial paralysis on one side only. If its caused by the drugs its an adverse reaction as it only affected 1 side and you may have had a stroke or you may be suffering from bells palsy. It could be another neuro condition.Either way you need to get yourself checked. Go to the ER or see your GP and bring the drugs you've taken with you.

All prescription drugs can have negative effects and there are few if any studies to show what the interactions are when you mix them with other medications. What did the instructions from the pharmacy say, or did you just poach these from someone else? You should only use medications that were prescribed for you.You should contact your doctor to see what might be able to be done. In the meantime just hope you didn't do permanent damage.If you abusing drugs, get help.

I have read in many places that since Tramadol is an opiod and not an narcotic that it will not show up? Again, it's a 5 panel test...

It is a synthetic pain reliever. Unofficially, it is addictive. Officially, it is not. So, I don't think it's considered an opioid.
