I just quit taking tramadol ultram about 5 days ago cold turkey what do i expect next?

Please help this is horrible im in day 5 or 6 i cant remember but i feel myself getting slowly better. Im getting my energy back and starting to feel better through out the day more and more. I still have some episodes though. I just want to know what can i expect after day 6 of cold turkey.I am also drinking to help relieve the withdrawals. ANY help would be appreciated

A few more weeks of odd sleep patterns and occasional nausea. I really admire your dedication, because i tried to stop taking my tramadol and I caved in after about 36 hours. I talked to my pain management doctor, and he told me that in order to stop taking tramadol properly, it takes 6-8 weeks of slowly tapering down. He said cold-turkey causes worse withdrawals than any of the traditional opiates or opioids. It's because of it's unique chemical make-up. From what i heard it gets worse after a week, and stays bad for a few weeks depending on how much you took and for how long. I wish you the best. I'm surprised your able to hold down alcohol. After 36-40 hours, my head was pounding so hard, and I was so nauseous I couldn't think about alcohol at all.

Would mixing 100mg of flexril with 750 mg of tramadol be fatal?

I am as close to a professional on the subject of tramadol that you will find. the tramadol will more then likely cause a seizure as I told you in another answer. If not it will cause respiratory depression or in other words will make your breathing shallow or just stop altogether. throw flexiril into the equation and you will further relax the muscles and thus cause more respiratory depression. Can i take tramadol for pain?

I have had a lot of success with Tramadol. I have chronic pain and although some people say that it is weak I find it to be very effective. My doctor added Naproxen in addition with the Tramadol and that seem to boost the effects. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tramadol
