Can an epileptic such as lamictal prevent seizures that can happen from mixing tramadol and ziprasidone?

Maybe so, but it would make sense to drop the Tramadol.Each drug lowers the seizure threshold (the amount of stimulus needed to provoke a seizure), and if your prone to seizures then than can be a problem.Lamictal is not a broad acting acting antiseizure drug as dilantin, nor has it been used as long to establish drug interactions.What I really do not like about Lamictal is the Stevens Johnson allergy and the anti-folate activity. It looks like to me is that it is a drug put on the market to make money not some breakthrough improvement in choices for the physician.Those atypical antipsycotics like Ziprasidone promote weight gain and diabetes, I would minimize this therapy to the very , very , least.

Tramadol and its active metabolites have less than 1/1000th the narcotic receptor binding of morphine, so I cannot account for why a person would abuse it. Nor do I understand why it would offer any pain relief.

My fiance and I are totally against drugs, and I know he doesn't secretly smoke it, since we are both here 24/7. And yet as accordance to rules where we live we get randomly drugged test, and his showed up with THC in his system....so just wondering.

If THC showed up in his test, he's been stepping out somewhere to smoke. Some people will say that being in contact with Marijuana smoke can cause THC to show up in urine, blood, or hair analysis--but that's been debunked. How long does tramadol take to kick in?

I took 200 mg of Tramadol for recreational use. How long will it take to kick in? Please, spare me the don't do drugs crap. I know the risks and side effects, and I already did it. I just want to know how long it will take to start working and if I took a good amount to get high. Thanks!

SKALAGIX which is a awesome name is right, Google everything before you take it. Even if all you have is the imprint on the pill Google the heck out of it first. Erowid Vaults is also a good spot to check, but the people on that take unreasonable amounts of things that don't always make sense. Tramadol lowers your seizure thresh hold and is thus rarely used recreationaly. It is an opioid, and unless crushed or chewed, I would say about a half hour, but I have taken it for over 2 years and it lasts longer than 2 hours, more like 4.

Tramadol is NOT an opioid, all though is has similar effects. And, it usually only takes about 20 minutes for me to feel the effects.
