So, I searched Y! Answers about Adipex and found that a lot of people are really against this pill, but I am more interested in hearing from the women (or men) who have actually TAKEN the pill and what their results were. I am interested in taking Adipex. I'm obese and I have friends who have taken it and were successful from it. However, I know that not everyone is the same and not everyone reacts the same so I want to hear from others. And before you all start on me about dieting and eating right and joining the gym. . . I already have. I have been in the gym since February of this year and I am on a very strict low calorie diet that isn't doing me a lick of good. With joining the gym the first couple of months I lost 20lbs, but that has since stopped. I have lost about 3lbs a month since. I drink plenty of water and no caffeine or high calorie drinks because I stick to my diet plan. I want to take Adipex to "help" me out. I'm not gonna try and get addicted to it, I simply want a little help. Thanks to all of you for your help if you have any stories to share!

I have even tried adipex pill, but after i stopped taking them i gained what i lost back plus more. I have had my thyroid and blood pressure checked but everything came back good. I just had a baby on 3-2-10 so a little over 2 months ago. pre pregnancy i weighed 130lbs and with pregnancy i weighed 185 i have lost 20lbs so im down to 165lbs and im 5'5. i have been researching diet pills because i cant seem o get the weight off by diet and exercise. i looked into maybe talking to my doctor about phentermine adipex but it just seems too serious what with side effects and possible addiction problems. im looking into trying something over the counter and have heard positive things about alli, and my cousin sudgested hydroxy cut but honestly i dont know what to use i would like something fairly quick, does any one have personal expirience with any good products or know anyone who something has worked for.. i wouold appriciate any input! thanks
