What can I do about the lack of sex with my girlfriend?
I'm very bad at forgetting my contraceptive pill, about two weeks ago the day after I was mean't to start my period (which I didn't come on), I droped the last 3 pills of mine in water by mistake and they discintegrated so I started a new sheet of pills, which the firsty white ones stop you from coming on, so I didn't come on at all, started getting really sore and tender boobs, itchy nipples and i felt bloated. I was worried that I could be pregnant so I stopped taking my pills for a week to see if i would come on, for the first three days i had horrible stomach cramps that I had trouble sleeping, then on the fourth day I came on my period, so I thought great I'm not pregnant, but this morning (5th day) I've woken up with a sore thumping headache and I've taken disprin and it hasn't changed, still sore, it's actually progressing, took more disprin and it still hasn't changed and I feel sick... what's wrong with me...?

I can't take the contraceptive pill as it tends to make me depressed, gain weight and gives me thrush so does this mean I won't get on with Mirena as it's the same hormones?I have polycystic ovaries and I'm on Metformin, I don't know if that makes a difference.We currently use condoms but the lube on them tends to irritate me slightly and, unfortunately, I'm very sensitive to things like that.Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Late taking birth control pill 2 days in a row?
Hi, I have been having pain in my lower abdomen for the past two days I think it has been.I stopped taking my contraceptive pill five days ago because I ran out, but i think it was one or two days before that my husband came in me, without a condom. I was wondering if I was pregnant or if I have some other kind of thing.Usually when I stop taking my pill, I get a period a few days later, but it's not very heavy. I got a bit of blood yesterday in the morning, but then it stopped, then in the afternoon, it was a little heavier, almost like the start of a period, but it stopped during late that night. I've been getting cramps/aches, not unbearable pain, in the lower part of my stomach, underneath my belly and sometimes around it. I feel like i'm a bit bloated as well. It feels similar to period pain, but a bit different in a way.I don't feel dizzy or sick or anything, or when I pee, it doesn't hurt, and doesn't have little traces of blood unless it drops out like a period. My breasts are a little sore, but not completely. I bought a new pack of contraceptive pills but i'm not sure if I should take them just incase I am pregnant, or is that too early to see signs? Please help. I'm 15 years old and since I was 12 years old doctors have been constantly asking me about sex. I find it really weird and awkward, especially as it's in front of my mother. I have never had sex or engaged in any sexual activities, yet doctors are always telling me I need to be on the contraceptive pill and I just don't know why. I go there to talk about my blood cell problems and hip problems, but all they want to talk about is sex? Literally every time I go there they spend 10 minutes telling me I need to be on the contraceptive pill. This really upsets my mother and whenever we go home she will not stop saying how outrageous it is and that it's not even legal for a child to be on the contraceptive pill. So anyway, why don't doctors ever want to talk to me about what i'm actually asking? Why do they just want to talk about sex?I never see the same doctor. I always just see whoever's available. I'd like to start using the contraceptive pill as soon as possible, my doctor gave me a perscription for this pill: ethinylestradiol/leveronorgestrel (I live in Holland, so I'm not sure if the name of this pill is the same in English)Anyway, last week (8th of January) I got my period (not for the first time) and since my pharmacist told me I should start using the pill on the first day of my menstrual cycle, I'm a little bit confused whether I can start using it tomorrow (14th of January). My doctor told me I could start using it any day I like, but if I did that, I'd have to make sure I'd use other contraceptives as well the first week after taking the pill.So.. just want to be sure, if I start using the pill tomorrow (14th) and will have sex (without a condom) on the 22th, will that be safe enough?Btw; this will be my first time using the pill, and I'm 16.


When to start using the pill?
Ok well Saturday morning i didn't take my pill at the normal time, i'm still ok within 12 hours but i lost track and forgot to take it until late at night. I'm not sure how long it takes for it to get back into my system, but me and my partner made love without protection, i know obviously it takes awhile to conceive but in the meantime do i carry on taking the pill as normal or stop for the time being, if i did conceive at some point and i was still taking the pill could it affect the seed??It is one the contraceptive pill cant remember the name, thing is i dont want him to find out if i am and if i stop taking the pill and we use protection he might get suspicous

Has anyone Weaned themselves off Dianette? (Diane35 in USA)?Just wondering how it went? Im just starting to do it now. Im not going cold turkey as i tried that once and it was awful awful awful. So i think the only way to come off without the nasty side effects is to wean. I have been on it for too long, years and years,and need to get off it asap! Horrid pill! I had sex while i was on my period, gross i know, on the 8th. Alright so this is going to be a really long question make sure you read it all or you wont understand it at all. This is the last few months of my menstrual cycle.September 9th (started)-12(ended)I was put on birth controll which i started the 19th (first sunday after my period)September 29(started)-Oct. 2nd (ended) --your thinking what 2 periods in one month yes but i stopped taking my birth controll i only took it 4 days cause i though i was pregnant so this was a reaction to the pills.Oct 29(started)-Nov 1st(ended)Nov. 29th (started)-Dec 2nd (ended)Didn't have a period in Dec. I took 3 more test (pee test) and negative. I went and had blood taken and it was negative i had it taken on the 6th (thursday). I had spotting on the 3rd of Jan. So now what do i do? Could i be pregnant??If you noticed after september my periods were regular all coming 27 days apart so why would they just stop coming all the sudden. & i no longer take the pills i stoped them in september. I need help & advice in my 6 year relationship!!!?
I had a UTI and they have done tests and say I no longer have one, but I was on Cipro a day late because I missed one dose at night, and continued to take it the next morning. Can missing one dose of Cipro 500mg cause the UTI to stay around or come back. My urine came back negative but I am not sure if the cipro can cause that test to be false or not, cause it was in my system? I still have some frequency and urgency and there is a little pressure under my kidneys but I have had gastrititis in the past and am thinking that could be it. It is not bad pain, just dull aching. Can gastrtitis cause that? It is especially on the left side. I can't get back to the doctor till tuesday and it is a clinic on campus cause I have no insurance. They are closed for the holidays. Also I am drinking cran-apple juice and water but I was told that cran-apple is not good. I took the cranberry supplement pills cause I can't stand the taste of regular cranberry juice, or these just as good? Should I stop taking the cran-apple? Hi, I have been having pain in my lower abdomen for the past two days I think it has been.I stopped taking my contraceptive pill five days ago because I ran out, but i think it was one or two days before that my husband came in me, without a condom. I was wondering if I was pregnant or if I have some other kind of thing.Usually when I stop taking my pill, I get a period a few days later, but it's not very heavy. I got a bit of blood yesterday in the morning, but then it stopped, then in the afternoon, it was a little heavier, almost like the start of a period, but it stopped during late that night. I've been getting cramps/aches, not unbearable pain, in the lower part of my stomach, underneath my belly and sometimes around it. I feel like i'm a bit bloated as well. Please help!! I lost my birth control about 3 months ago. I have been in a relationship the same man for a few years. I missed a few pills during the pack, about 4-5 months ago, with occasional unprotected sex. I had unprotected sex a few times after I lost the pack. I got a period right after I lost it but it was very light. My breasts felt heavy and my nipples started to hurt about 3 weeks after I lost my birth control. I figured it could be from going off it.I started back on my birth control about a month after I lost it. Since then, my breasts have hurt continuously. My nipples are sore, sometimes itchy, and sensitive. I started getting sick and nauseous about a week ago. I get heartburn a lot easier, I never get heartburn! I am very tired, worried, emotional. There was a white discharge for a few days last week sometime. I am used to birth control and this never happens, I have been taking the same birth control pill, on and off, for 4 years. I was just about to get a pregnancy test this weekend. Then last night I started bleeding. Very lightly, but with extremely heavy cramps. It's gotten heavier and my cramps hurt so bad! And it's not just period craps, my abdomen area hurts. My lower back hurts. The extremely bad cramps come and go. There's pinkish greyish material that comes out at random, even without hurtful cramps!! I also could have gotten pregnant about 6 months ago, when I forget to take a pill. I hate this three month birth control when I'm forgetful and have sex on a regular basis!!But please help me!I forget to mention until the end. I've been taking three month birthcontrol for about four years. So I only get my period 4 times a yearAnd I guess I'm not really asking the right question. How do I know for sure if I was pregnant? I just want to know whether to be traumatized by a miscarriage, or just happy that I'm getting my period and I'm not pregnant.

What are some reasons that I haven't gotten my period in two years?
My girlfriend is taking birth control for her PCOS She stopped for a month, then started again late November. She had her period on a Saturday (the 18th) and since then she started the second pack Last week (week 3) we had unprotected sex with no ejaculation and very little penetration, but she forgot a pill the week before (the only one she missed for this pack). Now it's placebo week, and her period started, but two days earlier than last month, around the same time it would come when she was originally on the pill before stopping. Her period's completely normal, and I guess I'm really the only one worried. She's been sick this month, but has been feeling all around bad even though she's not sick anymore, but she's also had random cramps and headaches once or twice this month, around the time she missed the pill, so that's probably what still has me worried. Is there still a chance she could be pregnant? Please keep rude answers to yourself, I know I'm basically reposting.

i'm really confused. i've been googling this for like the last hour, but EVERYONE says something different and EVERYONE is always SO SURE about themselves, i dont know what to think. okay so, when your on birth control pills, the period you get during the placebo week is not a "real" period, just a withdrawal from not having the hormones in the active pills, correct? So, since this is not a real period, couldn't you still have them if you become pregnant while taking the pill? because its just from not taking the hormonal pills, so it just seems like that would make sense that you COULD still have your monthly withdrawal period on the pill. Some people say it's COMPLETELY impossible, which i don't think is true, while others say it happened to them,. but i mean could you completely have your withdrawal period and it not be super noticably different from your usual withdrawal periods, and possibly even have what you think are your normal cramps, yet still be pregnant? Please only answer this if you really know what you're talking about, i'm way too confused about this already.OH and i know how the pill works and everything, i know that it tricks your body into thinking its already pregnant so that you dont ovulate. I missed a pill and took them kind of inconsistently this month in the first week, so thats why im wondering if this can happen. and i've been on this pill for almost a year now, if that matters.to the second person who answered- if that is true then why do somepeople get pregnant while taking it everyday and NOT missing one, ever.? this is so pointless, everyone says something different, so it just doesnt matter.

My first time on birth control pills... What should I expect?

I started the diet 2 weeks ago and so far I've lost 9 lbs. I'm 17 years and used to weigh 169.5 and now I'm 160 and my height is 5"5 and I wand to reach 135 lbs. I also have minor acne and im also taking pills to help with the acne but ever since i elimintated dairy and meat and started drinking lots of water my face is started to clear up. i believe its the food that i eat and not the pills. dont you think? I want to stay like this until 6 months and im considering going back to eating meat and dairy but limited do u think ill gain the weight back or should continue being vegan?

please someone help me no one seems to understand my problem and always seem to give me the same answer...every day i wake up look in the mirror my face is full of disgusting acne scarring, everysingle time i look in a mirror through out the day i get very sad like a feeling of disgust it always bring me down to tears, i have had this problem for a three years now it only seems to worsen. ive tried every single acne mask, home remedy, even gone to see a doctor but they only gave me pills and a cream,. every thing is terrible it doesn not work. i am the only one of all my friends to have acne i dont know why none of them have any i litteraly have atleast 100 acne scarrs. and its also on my chest and back, i cant ever go a single day with out wanting to cry PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME='( i cant even go meet people, look people straight in the eye, or i cant stand looking at my self it is just horrible. i used to have some very clear skin and all of a sudden everything seems to attack me as if im the only one that is suffering I HATE IT ALL PLEASE HELPand please someone if u know anything i can get at the store! i have tried Vitamen E its supposed to cure scars but it doesnt:( i dont got a credit card so cant shop online since am saving money for collegehow do u make a peeling on your face???

if i take yaz (a bc pill) only for my acne do i still need to take it at the same time each day?

I've been prescribed Dianette (contraceptive pill) to treat my acne. I was told by my doctor to start taking the pill on the first day of my period. The leaflet accompanying the pill said the same thing. My period isnt due for another 2 weeks and i'm impatient to start taking the pill! Could i start taking it now before i get my period or would this cause any unwanted effect? I'm not using the pill for contraception.

Yesterday I went to the dermatologist for the first time(I have acne on my face and back) and he gave me minocycline(pill) and ziana(thin layer on my face everyday he said) so my question is...will this medication work? has anyone used it and seen good results?

i am over 40years old AND still cannot get rid of this ACNE. i have red big spots or boils that are on my face chest back neck. the ones on face hurt. i have seen skin people that Doctor sent me to but no good. don't like taking pills. so is there ANYTHING that 100%works from the chemist or online. only email me if wot you use works 100% that a lot of people know about. something must work. thank you for any help you give me. don't know wot else to do.

This may sound gross but a natural beauty secret my family has is buying fish oil pills the jelly kind & putting it on your face for a couple hrs then rinsing it off, with water & then washing your face in your normal face wash and my skin always has a beautiful radiant glow to it. Anyone else ever tried this? Works with acne as well...@ Nicole: Yeah the longer you leave it on the better the outcome! You should usually do it when you're in the house because it has a fishy smell of course. I always leave it on for 2 -3 hours, or more if I can, but 2-3 hrs should be enough :-)



Does fish oil make anybody elses skin glow?

i am 13. i had my first period over two years ago. my period has never been regular. i usually go 3-5 months between them. the last time i got it was in september. the last time i went to the doctors (right before summer vaca) she said that i would need to go on "the pill" if it keeps up. also i get acne only around my mouth which i read was a sign of hormonal imbalance. do you think i should go and see a doctor now or just wait for my next yearly appointment?

It's been 5 years now and I've had enough. Since I first got it, Mum thought she could handle it so I didn't get any treatment early enough. I'm 17 now and it's senior year. Back acne - bacne. At the Doctors - non oral help?

I have really bad acne I've had it for 4 years and it has only become worse with time. I'm now 16 and it's manifested my entire body. Black heads, painful big cystic acne, white heads you name it I've got it. It's all over my chest, shoulders, arms, face I'm a huge disaster, I must have hundreds of bumps all over me. Don't recommend me to a dermatologist because I've already been there. He tried to prescribe me acutane which I refused because deaths have been reported from that drug. I've also seen warnings for it on TV. I have been to the hospital and they gave me every pill and cream known to man which all failed. I'm currently using Milk of Magnesia because my moms friend said she had bad acne and it cured it. But it seems to be doing absolutely nothing for me. I'm I freaking stuck like this, It's so disgusting I feel like wearing bag on my head. Please tell me you know a way out PLEASE.
