Ok I'm 19. 155 lbs. 5'11. My problem is sleep deprivation, or insomnia. For as long as I can remember, I haven't been able to sleep more than 10 hours a day. I sleep at most 4 hours a day. I can't not pick out what the various causes may be. I am a very stress free calm person. I played sports all my life, I'm a very handy person when it comes to technology. I think of things that you normally wouldn't think about, during my long nights of being awake. I think of death, moving to Australia, and acting. I think of those the most. It doesn't phase me, in the last 3 years a lot of people I have known friends and family have died from bodily problems, and horrific accidents. And it seems it is not in my brain to mourn. Australia? I wanna move there. I feel the need to. I've always wanted to marry a girl from Australia, reasons? I have no idea. it's just something I think about on a very consistent basis. Acting? That has been my dream since the beginning. I have always want to become a part of that world. I often dream. LUCID dreams. I'd like to play someone else. But I also do not want to disappoint my family so I have committed myself to following the steps to becoming a male RN, and to move to Australia as a part of that goal. Still I can not pin point the overall reason why I can not sleep normally. It's as if I am a vampire or something. I am very healthy in other aspects. I eat right. I havent been taking my vitamins in who knows how long so I started taking Once A Day Energey vitamin and I also take a fish oil pill along with it. I always take fish oil tablets so im used to those but this is my first time trying the Once A Day Energy. So I took it the other day on an empty stomach and I threw up so then I started taking it after I ate but everytime I do I get nausous and I puke it up.Whats with that?

I take fish oil, vitamin pill, vitamin c, 5-htp, and glutamin all at once in the morning am i just wasting?
For the past couple of years I've not had normal firm bowel movements regularly. My doctor recommended taking Metamucil everyday, so I have been doing that twice a day for a month and taking acidophilus and nothing has changed. I eat rather healthy, fairly high fiber diet and I can't seem to get past this.I have an enema attachment for the shower and even after a dozen pretty large flushes, I still seem to produce more messy, loose and really smelly stool within 20 minutes of the last flush.Is there some potent probotics I could take to rebuild my digestive system? Could this be related to some sort of allergy, maybe related to Gluten or something similar? I'm not lactose intolerant, cut out dairy products for over a month and did not notice any change.I sometimes have diarrhea immediatly after eating out and I almost never have those long, thick, firm tubes of stool I've had the first 27 years of my life. Bowel movements are sometimes frequent, gassy and range from loose chunks of material to creamy, it generally expells very quickly.This has been going on for about 3 years and my doctor seems to not think its a very big deal. I'm willing to make any diet changes necessary to help diagnose this.I have not experienced any fatigue, dehydration, discomfort or pain during any of this. My abdomen does seem to make a lot more audible noise than I remember when I was younger.Up until this started, I always has a very stable stomach. I only got diarrhea when I had some illness, like the flu or after drinking heavily and I don't recall every being constipated. I typically only had 1 bowel movement a day at most.My diet:I usually have cereal with soy milk for breakfast, a couple of sandwiches (whole wheat double fiber) for lunch and for dinner a protein, steamed veggies and rice or potatoes. I only drink water, juice and sometimes tea. Go to the gym most evenings and have a muscle milk after and sometimes a bowl of cereal with soy milk. I also take a multivitamin, acidophiles, fish oil, B-complex and Glucosamine (Joint health) with breakfast and 6 Metamucil vitamin therapy pills with breakfast and lunch. Most of the foods I eat are organic, sandwiches are PB&J or Tuna with olive oil mayo. Occasionally, for a midnight snack I'll have a big glass of chocolate milk (Horizon or Soymilk).I'm a gay male and rather enjoy anal sex. Been avoiding it far too much because of these problems.

First off, thank you all for taking the time to read this question, and thank you more if you plan to answer it seriously. I guess I'll start with some background.I am a guy between 6'4 and 6'5 (pretty tall) and around 230lbs. That may sound like a lot, but I'm not fat in appearance (probably because I'm tall). Still, I do have some belly fat I wish to be rid of and have taken to exercise and a very nazi diet. My diet pretty much exc;ides anything that has more than 150mg sodium per serving (which is how I shed a lot of water weight up front) and nothing more than 20g sugar per serving. This basically means I've been eating Boar's Head brand swiss cheese, fruit, fish I cook myself, protein bars, and bland cereal as those requirements pretty much eliminate most anything I see at the grocery store. My exercise has been different. Since it is now winter and the sidewalks are icy and more slippery than a Wall Street executive, I've hesitated to go running outside. Instead, I've started sprinting up the stairs of my apartment building from basement up to the fourth floor, then jogging back down and doing it again. I find this gets my heart rate up rather quickly. Now that that is out of the way, onto my questions. As far as weight loss is concerned, is it better to sprint like I've been doing or should I consider a more manageable jog? I've read 30min of uninterrupted exercise is ideal. Of course, even if there were enough stairs, I don't think I could sprint up stairs for 30min straight. Should I only be concerned with keeping my heart rate up for 30+ minutes? The other question I had relates to metabolism. I have had plateaus in the past, and from what I've read the body's metabolism slows down during diets, effectively reducing the amount of weight lost. Is there a way to keep the metabolism from slowing down while maintaining a nazi diet and typical exercise routine? I've read about acai, fish oil, green tea, and all manner of things. I have no intention on diet pills or any of that crap. But are there foods or things I can do to tell the body not to let down with the metabolism?

Fish oil pills help with what?
I ate tilapia a couple times within a month a while back and got a really itchy and tingly mouth. Since then, I have had shrimp, tuna, and salmon (fish I have never had a reaction to) and I've been fine. Why only tilapia. Also, I was going to start taking fish oil pills but didn't know if I'd have a reaction. Any advice?
