Recently started birth control pills, it's making my skin bad. How long until your skin clears?
I take birth control and I missed like the second pill of the pack and then the reast of the first week were taken kind of inconsistently, but usually I'm very good at taking them on time everyday. But anyway, like a wk-a wk and a half later i've had some symptoms. I take the sugar pill on wed. but if i were to take a test tomorrow(tues.) morning, what are the chances it'd be accurate, since it's still like a day before my period. Another question is, have you ever still had your "period" while you were on bc pillls but turned out to be pregnant, without missing a pd.? I read that that can happen, but I want to know if anyone's actually experienced it. I'v been on the pill for amlmost a yr now, so it's not just side effects. I know my mind could be just playing tricks on me though. So, thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Some questions about birth control, help me?
ok so i took the morning after pill the day i had unprotected sex which was about a week ago. my period is always irregular (i think b/c i am anemic). my last period was around mid November, it's already January but still no period... i heard the pill was to suppose to force your period to come but it seems like it's taking it's sweet time again. but i read some of the side effects could be delayed period and my acne seems to have cleared up do you think it's just the hormones messing w/ my body? and do you think i'm preggo? i did go to the doctor and got a blood and urine test and it came back negative, but i had the test done just a couple days after i had sex, do you think it's too soon to tell?? i'm going to wait until the end of the week to take another test... i really hope i'm just being paranoid and yes i know to use condoms and birth control but i was drunk and not thinking. don't judge me, plz help!thanks peeps. i got my period!!

a couple birth control questions?
so I'm on birth control and my family and I are going to a wedding this weekend and I'm supposed to take my brown pill(which starts my period) the day before the wedding. I was thinking that I could take my brown pill now so that I could just get my period now instead of having my period for the wedding. Can I do that? And does it have any side effects/is it dangerous? Thanks:)

*******girls only pleaseeeee*********?
I just started taking Nortrel 7/7/7 this past Sunday, the birth control pill. I didn't start it at the beginning of my period nor the Sunday after it started, I just took it on a Sunday to get it started it as soon as possible (my last period was the 31st of December to the 5th of January, yet I started on the 9th). So does this mean I have to wait the 28 days for it to take full effect or just 7 days? I also take vitamins, a multivitamin, Vitamin A, B-Complex, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Will any of these interact with the pill? Also, has anyone noticed any side effects and if so, what? I am taking it for a number of reasons: less acne, more regular periods, to gain a few pounds, to balance hormones and to prevent pregnancy, so I was wondering how everybody reacted to theirs and if they saw results? Thanks so much! :)

Nortrel 7/7/7, how do you like it and can you take it with vitamins?
I'm 31, and I've been on birth control (Ortho Tri-Cyclen) for many years. I've never been pregnant. I'm usually quite responsible with taking the pill regularly but I wasn't great about it last month - took 2 pills a day late, and missed one entirely. I've also been on antibiotics for the past 3 days. I just finished my period (on Saturday), and my boyfriend and I had unprotected intercourse late last night (Sunday). It dawned on me this morning that antibiotics make BC much less effective. I think my chances of pregnancy are probably fairly slim (given the timing), but would rather be safe than sorry and am a bit scared. I'm tempted to take Plan B, but just read several horrifying accounts of extended side effects. ARGH! What's a gal to do? Is there a distinct possibility I could be pregnant? I'd rather not take the MAP if at all possible, but would definitely prefer a few weeks of illness to an accidental pregnancy.

Should I take Plan B?
I'm fifteen years old and have hypothyroidism, I was already overweight in the first place. So, my doctor decided to put me on birth control pills to supposedly make me lose weight. They said the pills would not have full effect until december, and it is now january and I have gained at least ten pounds. The pill has had nothing but reverse side effects on me and now I look fat no matter what I wear. It is wearing my self esteem thin and I am almost to the point where I hate my body so much I want to kill myself. I exercise at least two hours and day and I'm very outdoorsy, but no matter how much I try all I do is gain weight. The pills are also linked to several types of cancer, which the doctor denied. But according to several past users of Birth Control pills, they have not only gained weight, but suffered from heart attack, stroke, or one of the many cancers they are linked to. How should I take action in confronting my doctor and should I take legal action?

Do I have a right to be upset with my doctor?
So I've been put on birth control pills (LoEstrin24Fe) to slow and stop the growth of the cysts I have in my right ovary. I was just wondering, how is it some girls take 'em wrong and end up pregnant? I know its maybe perhaps skipping a few pills. I haven't missed a day but I take 'em at different times. Either in the morning or afternoon not passed 3. My boyfriend and I have been feeling down about not being able to have a baby until the cysts go away. So I think my mind is playing tricks on me making me think I'm pregnant but I know its the pills. I've been having sore boobs for the past 2weeks. Is that a side effect of the bcp?
