Has anyone taken tramadol hydrochloride acetaminophen for pain?

I am wondering if it makes you loopy? I have a script for pain, but worried that I will not function well with a 7 year old at home. Any info? I get nervous about painkillers. Thanks!!

I was recently prescribed Tramadol 100mg tablets for my tendinits, after a month of using these i felt that i didn't need them anymore.... later did i realise that my body had become dependant on them. I suffered withdrawals such as insomnia, flu like symptoms, headaches, restless legs, depression. I have taken it all, and it has been just like taking an aspirin, I have not had any problems what so ever.....unfortunately, none of it helped my pain either.........

no, tramadol should have no affect on oral contraceptives.Tramadol (brand name Ultram) is a pain medication.Here's what I foundFEMODENE 28 and other medicines Some medicines may stop FEMODENE 28 from working properly. These include medicines used for the treatment of epilepsy (e.g. primidone, phenytoin, barbiturates, carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, topiramate and felbamate); tuberculosis (e.g. rifampicin and rifabutin) and HIV infections (e.g. ritonavir and nevirapine); antibiotics (e.g. penicillins, tetracyclines and griseofulvin) for some other infectious diseases; and the herbal remedy St. John's wort (primarily used for the treatment of depressive moods).The Pill may also interfere with the working of other medicines (e.g. medicines containing cyclosporin or the anti-epileptic lamotrigine).Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines or herbal products, even those not prescribed.Always tell the doctor who prescribes FEMODENE 28 which medicines you are already using.
