The leaflet in my box of Tramadol says to tell your doctor if you are preggo or become preggo while on Tramadol. I would assume this is so they can monitor bub and maybe even supervise or advise you of the correct way to stop the Tramadol.The only withdrawal symptoms I got from stopping Tramadol were severe insomnia for around 3-5 nights...it was very annoying...The Tramadol had also constipated me and this changed when I stopped taking it. My back pain quickly returned in about 24 hours after stopping the Tramadol too. I stopped it to trial another painkiller but went back on the Tramadol as it works well for my chronic back pain. The Insomnia was by far the worst symptom I hadSo.....speak with the Doctor who prescribed you the Tramadol so they can advise you properly.

Oxycodone is a hell of a lot stronger than ultram. Me and my mother both see pain management doctors due to bad backs (i have scoliosis and she has disk issues, pinched nerves, and anything that can be wrong, is wrong with her) anyway, my mother is on oxycodone 30mg 3 times a day and your doctor will only put you on that medication if there is really something wrong. I am on ultram for my scoliosis and it is no where near as strong as the oxy's. So to answer your question-both are addictive but oxycodone is a lot more addictive and alot stronger. Also, oxycodone is a narcotic, and ultram is not.Do yourself a favor and DO NOT get on oxycodone if you dont absolutely need it because once your on it, you will be on it for the rest of your life.

I can only speak from my own experience. I use prescriptions for both and much more. Tramadol seems pretty good to me and it's non addictive. It doesn't seem to fully block severe, chronic pain,but it works far better for me than many others for pain management.Oxycodone is a narcotic and is strictly regulated by your doctor and pharmacies by law, but it is a quick fix. It is very addictive and may fool the cerebral cortex into thinking that more pain deserves more medication. I believe both are very strong powerful painkillers that are prescribed under direction of a GP. My Father took both at different times for pain related to a cancerous condition. I beleieve the first can be given as a slow-release which suited him better (but I may be wrong - can't quite remember).Either way, I really think your GP should advise as my Father did have a reaction between Tramadol and another of the tablets he was taken, so there may be some reactions. I took tramadol and vicodin and still do, you'll be fine and your baby will be fine, don't try and stop taking them all of the sudden though because you and your baby will go through withdraws and trust me that's not fun.

A lot of women get prescribed pain meds during their pregnancy, make sure that you tell your doctor. I think 6 is a little much, but just ask your dr. If you stop now, taper off, so you don't go through withdrawals b/c you will if you don't taper off. If you do stop now more than likely your baby will be fine. Good luck

My pediatrician prescribed me lortabs for a bad ear infection. They just gave me a lesser dose than they would have if I wasn't pregnant. I had tylenol 3 at home and asked if I could take those. Well here is the thing, both of these drugs serotonin reuptake inhibitors and Amitriptyline acts primarily as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, with strong nueroephendrine properties, what this means is this, In short it is a precursor to dopamine but not as L-tyrosine is to serotonin, and has no effect on dopamine (All anti dperessant (OH MY GOD A TYPO!) are serotonin reuptake inhibitors with mild effect on dopamine, if not they would work just like cocaine) and Tramadol is an opiate like MU2 or Mu1 agonist with a very mild serotonin reuptake inhibitor. So one is an anti depressant, the other is an anti-depressant, with mild opioud like characteristics. Similar to codiene, but where codiene wacks MU1 and 2 Trammies only hit one. ANd MU1 and 2 receptors are the marvelous receptors that cause physical dependence.I DO not see an issue BUT.........it is like taking two anti depressants, this can either enhance the results of the medications or it can really, really have horrible and bad consequences. I.G. Like wanting to commit suicide. Ask a pharmacist and the thing is this, (But I know as much as them) like me, it is a difficult question to answer, (I would not based on my knowledge even mix these two damn drugs!) do not go cold turky on the AMitriptyline but reduce it ever three days and the Tramadol will take over for both drug in a sense act the same way and it is akin to saying, I want to totally stop Oxycodone but remain on hydrocodone. Two pills a day does not make an addiction. Tramadol is a moderate non-narcotic pain reliever that comes in 50mg tablets. Should your friends be abusing prescription drugs? No they shouldn't. I am guessing that they have access to someones prescription and will probably run out of pills soon. I can not tell you if you should or should not rat them out to their parents. You are there and I am here, you have the inside view on what is happening and how they are reacting. My husband had a really bad break in his left leg and took both at the same time by accident. (Took the hydrocodone, forgot, and then took the tramadol.) You will be absolutely fine as far as the mixing of the 2 goes. Alot of people that I know from Pain Management take Tramadol to supplement another main pain reliever that they are taking. I take 10mg methadone along with either 50 or 100mg of tramadol depending on my pain level.Just be aware that you are adding more to the mix and you will feel a little more groggy Hope you feel better soon!!

It is possible. Are you feeling ill because of it?? How long have you been taking the two together in the same day?? I take tramadol for my fibromyalgia, and there are soooo many restrictions with other medications. You should talk with your local pharmacy. Ask if it is ok. They will be able to tell you. Then, if you dont get a clear enough answer, talk to your doctor. Hope it works out for you, and be careful with anything you are taking.

Yes, you can safely take both simultaneously. Tramadol is a pain reliever and Ultracet is tramadol +tylenol. By combining the two pills, you are getting a near optimal dose of tramadol plus some tylenol, which shouldn't hurt unless your liver is a mess

yes, it would be safe if you stopped a few days ago. you should be fine. although i have drank 2 beers hours after taking my medication, it really isn't recommended. i called the pharmacist to ask just to be on the safe side and he said that if it had been several hours since my last dose, a couple of beers would be ok but certainly no more than that. good luck on your date and have fun!!!

My derm prescribed Retin-A along with Clindamycin back when I was 14, and that regimen worked alright until I noticed it not working anymore. So last month, my derm prescribed a stronger version of Retin-A that kind of but barely worked on my face, and especially my back and chest.I went to the doctor today, and he prescribed Minocycline. My boyfriend last night was asking me what I thought about a vasectomy. I'm on birth control, and want kids, so I don't him that I wasn't in favor and didn't understand why he wanted one. I went on Triqular over ten years ago. I often wondered if maybe my mood swings and extreme pms was due to birth control but because I had been on the pill so long it was hard to judge.Recently (four months ago) I finally ended a crazy relationship and decided that I would give my body a break and go off the pill. Soon I noticed my skin was acting up (i attributed this to being off the pill) and I felt "less crazy" than I had since I can remember....was this because i was finally away from my ex or being off the pill. Hard to tell. Also I found I was in really good shape (I always worked out but it seemed I was at least 5lbs lighter without trying.....again this could be that I'm not eating snacks regularly with the ex). I really hoped that being irrational and the 5-10lbs weren't side effects of the pill because I had every intention to go back on it once I was dating again and feel like I gave my body a break.Well I've been back on Triquilar for a week and there have been some things that concern me. One is that I've gained at least 5lbs (seems to be mostly boobs and tummy) is this the result of being sick last week and not going super hard at the gym or the pill? I've also cried twice over the last week and feel a little emotionally off. Me and my boyfriend are currently on a one weeks break because he is questioning his love for me and whether he wants a relationship. He felt like this before Christmas but we carried on - however when I asked him this week how he feels he said still the same. I take 3 200mg Ibuprofen and 2 650mg Tylenol Arthritis pills at the same time 3 times a day with little to no relief. I am 26 and have lost most of my quality of life. Hey all my statistics are 31 30 and 36 as you can notice that my upper body is definitely thinner than my lower body.I recently suffered weight loss so my bust has gone from 33 to 31 now and now my figure Just doesn't look good.Also it gets me into trouble while getting up from the bed when you are sitting on the bed.I get stucked while getting up if i am sitting on the floor :'( MY hips bulge out and don't look good from the sideways . Alright i weight about 350 pounds I am a male and 5'9. Recently I started the gym And need to know how much weight i could lose in a month if i ate only 1500 calories or so. I know you guys will say thats to little and such but no thats all i want to eat because i need fast results. Please do not say its not healthy! I know it isnt but all i need answered is if what i do is good enough to lose weight fast...Like at least 5 pounds a weekI walk at the gym for like 30 minutes at a pace of 2.5.(I could do more but just that my legs start to hurt...I dont really get all out of breath or anything.)After walking i get on the bike and do about 1 mile on it sometimes more. But the least i do is 1 mile.After the bike I go in the sauna for about 20 minutes. (A friend told me its good)After the sauna i go swimming for about an hour or so. And I just do laps back and forth. Out of the 1 hour I am usualy in there...About 45 minutes I am swimming and 15 minutes I would proly be resting. I've always been a thin girl, ranging from a size 0 to a size 5. At age 17, I started birth control, which took me from 101 pounds to 164 pounds in just 2 years. This drastic weight gain has really taken a toll on my personal life. I'm definitely not as outgoing as I used to be, and I've lost a lot of confidence. I'm making some changes! I just purchased an elliptical, which I plan on using every other day. As well as Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred that I plan on using the days I don't use the elliptical. ALSO, I've made positive changes to my diet. I completely cut out sodas (I normally had 2 or more a day), went from whole milk to organic fat free, and white bread to wheat bread. Even though I'm not a big fan of diet pills, I'm actually terrified of what they can do, I purchased Lipo 6 because of it's great reviews.Anyhow, I'm just asking for some advice. I am currently taking the depo provera shot. Pros to that are NO PERIOD and NOTHING to remember on a daily bases. Cons Haven't been able to lose weight and i've gotten acne. I don't do dairy product so im sure I don't get much calcium so im not sure how strong my bones are (oh yea im 20) and Ive seen that the shot could cause loss of bone density. I missed the last day to take the shot so yesterday I went to have the required preg test so i could get it today but im not sure I want to get it this time. Im torn between that and the pill. If i don't go get it today then id have to get another pregnancy test done and then go back to get the shot so i need to make the decision soon. I asked my husband and of course he likes that I don't have a period but other than that he says he just doesn't want to have a baby right now. so I need to be on something and condoms don't really work for us. Okay so i've been trying to loose weight for the fast few years, i succeeded a bit during the summer but it all went down the drain when i stopped going to the gym ( way too expensive and parents did not want to keep on paying). Just got the Wii Fit 2 and some weights to use at home since going to the gym after having a baby is not always possible. I need a diet pill, something that won't jeopardize my health and something that will show results. I cut out soda from my diet, limiting my sweets and also watching what I eat. Limited everything to lean meats, lots of veggies and some fruits with some grains and milk at every meal (skim). When I see the weight loss slowing down I get discouraged and need to get back down to my normal size 7 before June for my sisters wedding. Which means I have to go down about 9 dress sizes. Okay my younger sister is overweight and she knows that. so we hav tried everything and hse is not losing the weight.We also can't afford anything like jenny craig or weight watchers because they to much.We also already know she can't take any pills unless a doctor perscribes them to her and we don't want her on diet pills anyway.Also this is her 1st year of middle school and of course she has started having the boy crushes so it does make her feel very uncomfortable to show off her body like in leggings or spandex.So we want her to lose 100 pounds before she starts 7th grade.So could anyone plz give me advice on helpin her lose weight fast or try any weight loss programs that are free or anything we are desprerate because she goes in her room and cry at least 3 times a week.So anyone that has advice tips anything please i am beggin u to help God bless u if u do sincerly,lakria
